Bahá'í Teaching Bus Tales essay 3

One of the stop-overs on our travel teaching trip to the Yukon included a visit with the friends of Prince George, British Columbia. Their open-arms welcome was a strong reflection of their daily dealings with one another and with us as their new friends.

On Wednesday, May 16, 2018, the friends gathered in a relaxed atmosphere to review and discuss the gratifying elements contained within the Universal House of Justice 2018 letter. Lead by Vahid Mathiscyk, the delegate of the local electoral unit to the National Convention, we deliberated over the message of hope and the challenges included in our collective pursuit to engage in conversations with as many people as possible about the fulfillment of the Baha'i Faith.

The following day, the friends gathered for the Feast of 'Azamat (Grandeur). We enjoyed a meal together before the formal event and afterward, sipped on refreshments and enjoyed sweet treats.

PRAISE be unto God, incomparable in majesty, power and beauty, peerless in glory, might and grandeur; too high is He for human imaginations to comprehend Him or for any peer or equal to be ascribed unto Him. He hath clearly set forth His straight Path in words and utterances of highest eloquence. Verily He is the All-Possessing, the Most Exalted. When He purposed to call the new creation into being, He sent forth the Manifest and Luminous Point from the horizon of His Will; it passed through every sign and manifested itself in every form until it reached the zenith, as bidden by God, the Lord of all men. ~ Baha'u'llah
